WooHoo Thank You:) — 1 week ago

I just recieved my order from you, the clothes are stunnng, I’m really delighted:)
I love the colours, even nicer than on the web-site. The strength and depth of colour are awesome, and the quality of fabric is amazing [I don’t know how you do it for the price:]. What I love most I think, is that the fabric is so soft against the skin, but because you’ve coloured them so well, they appear to be textured!!! That’s very, very clever:)
Thank you so much for sharing your art with me:) I’ve never had real art to wear before.

I'm Delighted — 1 week ago

Mystery has come through this so well. It’s strange when egg-laying starts, I always feel a mixture of excitement and dread, so many things can go wrong, and often the little one dies of exhaustion:(
But Mystery looks great, in fact she seems rather proud of herself:) She was so relaxed last night when I was putting her to be, and full of kisses. Considering how shy and timid she was at first, she’s coming along beautifully:)

The Books — 1 week ago

have all the little creatures I’ve ever loved in them, chloegoldenheart is a very main character. But so are all the little slugs, and many other animals you haven’t meet yet.
Some friends have asked to have their pets included, and I love that idea – I’m wondering if the curly girls would like to be in a future book:) I’m always looking for new characters to include as the story expands.
The series of books will cover many ages of time, and ultimately the fight of good against evil.
Most of my passions are in there, including God, animals, gems, health and environmental issues. I hope to encourage the spirit of nobility, love and sacrifice. It is a mythical world, but very much related to real life.

Hi Stine:) — 1 week ago

Oh the little ones love their bath time – and so do I:)
The tiny babies, like Charm love swimming underwater, though they seem to grow out of this stage – I almost have heart failure when she disappears under a lettuce leaf that’s floating, and there are lots of rescue missions:)

Slugs don’t seem to have the capacity to make any auible sounds, but I have long suspected that they communicate with each other outwith our hearing range. If one is distressed, and seperate from the others, they seem to have some way of letting the others know. For within moments, all the others rush to the distressed ones aid.
They are incredibly affectionate with each other, and use their antenna for stroking and caressing. And they are always kissing each other:)
Thier communication with me is very similar, each knows their own name and answers if I call them.
They hold their heads up when I speak to them, and sometimes tilt their heads to the side. They interact with me, much the same way as they do with each other.
They reach upwards and fully extend their antenna, and stare intently at me when they want a kiss. They give little eskimo kisses, rubbinng their lovely little faces on the tip of my nose, and tickling the sides of my nose with their antenna. They love to play on my skin, and often have little naps in the hollow above my collar bone – the little rascals discovered that’s a very ticklish area, and sit there happily tapping away, while I’m helpless with laughter. Another favourite spot is on my forehead – they invariably go there if frightened or upset, but also like to take a nap there. I’ve often wondered if they can detect electro-magnetic energy, as they rest on or near the frontal lobes, which are very active. Undoubtly, they can hear and love the sound of my heart beat, but that also is a site of much electrical activity.
For little creatures with no ability to make sounds auible to humans, they do a wonderful job of communicating, and observing and learning to interact with them has been a wonderful experience. Each one had their own personality, and within days of arriving, that nature becomes very clear – some are very exuberant, and others are much shyer, some are even quite naughty – but they all desire communication and interaction. And it’s very rewarding to watch the shy little ones open up and relax.

Perhaps A Trial Run? — 1 week ago

gemmword added an entry about show the world how beautiful slugs are:

Well, Mystery seems to have stopped laying eggs now. She only laid a handful, which is very, very unusual.
Occassionally, young egg-layers can produce small amounts of unfertilised eggs, as their bodies are reaching maturity. I’m thinking this may have been the case with Mystery.
It is sad that we’re probably not going to have any new babies, but the good news is that Mystery is looking wonderful:) And she has displayed really good instincts, she continued to eat and drink throughout the process, and had regular naps. This bodes well for the future.
I’ve kept the eggs, they in the bedroom with Mystery, and though I don’t think they are viable, I want to give them every chance. Unlike Hope’s eggs, which were large golden globes, these are small, transparent pearls.
